With near perfect weather conditions around the villa, what better way to cool off than a dip in our gorgeous pool.
The Pool
Our large 11 x 6 metre pool is surrounded by fruit trees, vines and palms, giving plenty of shade.
It has been designed to ensure a fine view over the valley and yet still provide maximum privacy.
The pool enjoys being in the sunshine all day long and so for sun lovers, there is a large hand-laid ‘calcada’ (Portuguese mosaic) sun bathing area, with chairs, sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a shaded sitting area at the end of the pool where one can enjoy poolside refreshments.
We have a selection of inflatables and swim aids to ensure that everyone can enjoy splashing around safely in its cooling waters.
Just to the side of the pool, there is a hot shower and toilet. Beach towels are provided for use when around the pool.
With safety in mind, the pool area itself is fenced off and has a slope for step-free access, which can only be accessed via a locked gate.
